Mt. Rainier has been recognized as the highest (Elv. 4,240 m), the most powerful, and will be the most disastrous volcano which could erupt very possibly in the next thirty years in Cascade Range and in Washington State. Like other Cascade volcanos, Mt. Rainier is covered with snow and glaciers through the years, and Nisqually Glacier is the biggest one. Catastrophic it might be, this mountain attracts countless visitor to enjoy the spectacular landscape. In addition to the huge snow dome, wild flowers, expansive alpine views, colourful rocks, waterfalls, and many geological fantacies are so stunning that visitors like me would want to drive all the way of more than 300 miles from Vancouver to enjoy for as many times as possible.
